Services

  • Before booking in an initial assessment, we will arrange a free 30 minute phone call to discuss your child's needs, answer any questions you may have, and to help you decide whether I am the right Speech and Language Therapist for you and your child.

  • Assessments are tailored to your child's age, developmental level, and the concerns you have. Assessments may include:

    • Background discussion with parents or school/nursery staff

    • Assessment of your child via formal assessments, informal screening tools, or play based activities as appropriate

    • Observation of your child within their school/nursery setting, or at home

Assessment appointments typically last between 60 and 90 minutes.

  • Therapy sessions usually take place face to face, either in your home or at school/nursery. In some situations, it may be possible to carry out therapy virtually via video call. The exact nature of therapy will depend on your child’s needs, age, and readiness for therapy. Recommendations will be discussed with you following your child’s assessment.

  • I am a PACT Accredited Practitioner.

"PACT is a scientifically evidenced early intervention for neurodiversity and autism with proven improved child communication and social engagement sustained long-term into middle childhood.

PACT understands, nurtures and responds to the development and communication needs of neurodiverse and autistic children, with outcomes influenced by the quality of adult communication support. PACT therapists work with parents or caregivers rather than directly with the child, using video observation and feedback methods that complement the child's individuality and neurodiversity."

PACT is implemented over 12 fortnightly sessions, either face to face or via video call. Parents are asked to commit to an initial 6 sessions before beginning PACT intervention.
